NBA: All-Star break well timed for Bucks

Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer says this weekend's All-Star break will provide his team with a much-needed rest after Tuesday's win over Indiana Pacers.

The Bucks are 11/2 to successfully defend their title and win the NBA Championship outright, while star man Giannis Antetokounmpo is 7/2 to be the regular season MVP.

Majority due a break

Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton will represent Milwaukee in the All-Star Game but the rest of the players will get the weekend off.

Grayson Allen exited the game against the Pacers midway through the third quarter due to hip soreness and did not return, and Budenholzer feels the 26-year-old guard will be among those who benefit from a few days off.

"I'm sure the break's coming at a good time for everybody, but I do think that Grayson; he's been a little banged up," Budenholzer said, via USA Today.

"Playing the back-to-back, I think he was over 30 (minutes) last night so we just gotta do everything we can to keep his hips in a good place and just generally his whole body.

"I do think that this All-Star break, give him a chance to kind of shut it down for a few days and then built it back up."
