The NFL International Series kicks off in London this week with the first of five regular season games to be played outside the US and the first of three in the UK capital city this fall.

More than 121,000 fans witnessed the two NFL London matchups at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2021, which included the most gripping finale to any NFL game ever played in the UK.

After the Jacksonville Jaguars called a timeout with one second remaining against the Miami Dolphins, Matthew Wright made a 53-yard field goal to end the franchise's 20-game losing run.

The Jaguars will be back in London to play another home game later in the season, but the first two clashes for European fans to enjoy will be between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints in Week 4, followed by the Green Bay packers against the New York Giants in Week 5.

When is NFL London taking place?

The action starts on consecutive weekends, with Vikings going up against the Saints on the first Sunday in October and the Packers making their first transatlantic trip to face the Giants a week later.

The Jaguars meet the Denver Broncos on October 30th.

All the games kick-off at the same time in the US, 9:30am ET/6.30 a.m. PT, but because of daylight saving time the third of the three games starts an hour earlier than the other two in the UK - at 13:30BST instead of 14:30BST.

Where is the NFL London happening?

NFL regular season games have been taking place in London since 2007 and the city will host two at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one at Wembley in 2022.

Week 4's game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints is being staged at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which has a capacity of 62,850.

The New York Giants will hope to put their prior knowledge of London games to good use against first-time London travellers the Green Bay Packers a week later at the same venue.

Then, later in October, the Denver Broncos will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium, which has a capacity of 90,000 and usually sees NFL attendances of over 82,000.
