Sydney FC will welcome back experienced forward Kosta Barbarouses when they take on Wellington Phoenix on Saturday and he is itching to get back on the pitch.
Sydney FC are priced at 11/2 to win the A-League grand final this season and having players like Barbarouses will be a huge plus for boss Steve Corica.
The New Zealand international has been on the sidelines with a fractured ankle and has not been able to kick a ball in anger this season.
He admits it has been a frustrating time but thankfully Sydney have coped well in his absence and he is now ready to return and help with the push for silverware.

"It's the most football I've missed in my pro career actually," Barbarouses told reporters. "It was a bit foreign to begin with actually and you don't really get used to missing games.
"You're eager to get back out there and help the boys. I think they've done extremely well in the past few weeks to deal with injuries and players missing with the national team as well. I'm happy to be joining them again."
Barbarouses began his career with the Phoenix and he is well aware of the threat they will pose on Saturday after they picked up wins in four of their last five matches.
"They've been fantastic the last few weeks and we sort of play a similar way structure-wise," Barbarouses said. "It's always a good game against them. I've always said that they were a good side and they're no different now.
"They're really dangerous on the counter, especially this year. They sit back a little bit bit more than they have been and it's definitely going to be an interesting game."
