Tigertiger will attempt to lower the colours of his more fancied rivals when the six-year-old lines up in Saturday's Sydney Cup.
While the prospect of testing conditions at Randwick is proving a big worry to connections of a number of the leading fancies for the Group 1 contest over 3200 metres, Rob Blacker, the trainer of the gelding, remains unfazed.
Lining up off the back of a second in last month's Group 2 Adelaide Cup, Tigertiger is a 28/1 chance for the the Sydney Cup, odds connections believe he can outrun.

"He's been trained specifically for two miles, he'll run the trip," Blacker said. "The track is no problem, that's why we're going. He will genuinely run the two miles on wet ground.
"If we get a real genuinely run two miles, the tougher it is, the better it suits us. I know it's a Group 1, but it's probably not the strongest Group 1 in the world, is it?"
Dean Holland will take the ride at just 50 kilograms with the pair set to jump from barrier two and Blacker continued: "Dean Holland's record in two-mile races is unbelievable, he's elite.
"I think the barrier means we've gone from being a long way off to having a bit more flexibility in positioning."
The going at Randwick was described as a Heavy 10 on the eve of the meeting with more than 200 millimetres of rain having hit the track in the previous seven days.
