The Canterbury Bulldogs have announced a deal that will see Max King extend his stay with the club until the end of the 2024 NRL campaign.
The Bulldogs are priced at 17/2 to finish in the top eight of the NRL this season and King is now locked in after signing a two-year contract extension.
The 24-year-old had previous stints with the Gold Coast Titans and Melbourne Storm before making the move to join the Bulldogs.
He has gone on to make 56 NRL appearances and has impressed everyone at Belmore with the amount of work he puts in during a game.

The Bulldogs have made some high-profile signing over the last 12 months and even though it may be less spectacular, the club are delighted to keep hold of King.
Canterbury coach Trent Barrett knows just how important King is to the team and is happy to lock him in.
“We really believe in Max as a player, and everyone has been impressed with his attitude and effort on the field,” Barrett told the club’s website. “He brings a lot of energy and is a strong ball carrier, and we look forward to seeing him continue to develop in the coming years.
Max is a big part of the future here and we are pleased that he has decided to extend his time with the club.”
The Bulldogs have made a disappointing start to the season and currently sit bottom of the ladder after winning just one game out of six.
