The Western Bulldogs have been handed a big boost with the news both Tim English and Taylor Duryea are set to return to action when they face West Coast this weekend.
The Bulldogs are priced at 16/1 to win AFL grand final this year and both players are key to their chances of getting there.
English has not played since round five after suffering with a hamstring injury. He was also hit with a severe bout of influenza that floored him for the last couple of weeks.
Meanwhile Duryea has also recovered from illness and should return in the Optus Stadium clash if he comes through a fitness test this week.

"Both players are back to full energy and knocking down the door to be considered this week," Bulldogs head of sports medicine Chris Bell said.
"If both get through training this week like I expect, both will return to availability. Jason Johannisen is a day or two behind (with a similar illness) but has turned the corner and is back into a full training mode.
"We will determine JJ's plan and if he pulls on the jumper over the coming days."
Meanwhile Cody Weightman has also made a speedy recovery from a collarbone injury and is an outside chance to face the Eagles.
"He still needs to tick some boxes throughout this week and get through a solid main training session on Wednesday before we decide if he returns to availability this weekend,” Bell added.
