His contribution added to two goals from David Pastrnak, who reached 30 goals which leads the Bruins and ranks sixth in the entire NHL. Pastrnak also has 25 assists for a total of 56 points.
The Bruins shared offensive production has helped them to win six of their last seven games and improve their season record to 3-18-4.
The are fourth in the Atlantic Division and currently in possession of the first Wild Card spot to qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Cassidy said after the victory over Vegas: "I think good teams need secondary support… if that can be a thing that you can get through some games where your top guys aren't going, or you don't get on the power play much, or generate on it, then you're going to be dangerous."
