Chad Johnson has hailed Ja'Marr Chase's "stellar rookie season" and proclaimed him to be the best Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver of all time.
Chase, who is 6/5 to score a touchdown in Super Bowl LVI, took the NFL's Rookie of the Year award on Thursday after an incredible first year as a professional.
The former LSU product finished with 81 catches for 1,455 with 13 touchdowns in the regular season, averaging a staggering 18.0 yards per catch.

Chase's 279 receiving yards in the postseason have also broken previous rookie records and his 1,734 combined receiving yards in the regular season and playoffs are also the most from any first-year player in league history.
Having seen his own franchise record for most receiving yards (1,440) in a season beaten by Chase back in early January, Johnson is a firm believer that the 21-year-old could be the best Bengal ever.
"I think I can say this, he's probably the best Bengals receiver to don the damn stripes," Johnson, who also went by the name "Ochocinco" during his 10-year NFL career, told CBS Sports HQ on Thursday.

"He had a stellar rookie season that's never been done. He's playing in a Super Bowl. I had a decade to help my team achieve and get to. I didn't do that.
"I might have been the most entertaining receiver -- maybe player -- to ever play this game. What Ja'Marr has done in just a year's time would identify him as the best Bengal to ever play, especially at the receiver position."
