Constitution Hill ticks all boxes to open this year's Cheltenham Festival with a bang in the Supreme Novices Hurdle on 15th March, according to connections.
The talented five-year-old is unbeaten in two starts over hurdles, both at Sandown, and sits at the top of the ante-post market at 2/1 with bet365. You can follow the action via our Sports Live Streaming platform.
Trainer Nicky Henderson will be out to register a fourth win in the first day opener which he landed most recent with Shishkin in 2020 and is also set to field another unbeaten hope in the shape of Jonbon.
Owned by Michael Buckley, Constitution Hill ran out a 14 length scorer on his debut in December and followed up with a 12-length demolition job in the Grade 1 Tolworth Hurdle on 8th January.

Buckley said: "We're in a great position. Constitution Hill has won his two races pretty comfortably and I don't suppose it will be like that in March but it will be interesting to find out how good he is."
As to the style of his victories, the owner added: "I was pretty surprised by his first performance because Nicky was worried he wasn't quite fit enough but he was equally impressive in the Tolworth. He jumped the last two hurdles very professionally and showed he can quicken up in the last two furlongs on soft ground."
Buckely went on: "He's a little bit of an unknown quantity because when you've won that comfortably, you wonder if the others didn't quite perform, but he records really good times. I'm looking forward to the festival but I'm sure I won't be on the morning of the race – I'll be too anxious."
