Central Coast Mariners striker Jason Cummings says he has yet to receive a call from Socceroos coach Graham Arnold ahead of next month’s crucial World Cup qualifying play-offs.
The Socceroos have yet to qualify for the World Cup after missing out in the group stages when finishing third on the ladder.
Cummings was born in Scotland but qualifies to play for Australia through his family. He has yet to play for the Socceroos but there have been calls for Arnold to give him a chance.
He has been on fire for the Mariners when scoring 10 goals in 21 games after signing for the club at the start of the year. But continues to be overlooked.

Cummings is not stressing about the situation though and says he has done all he can to get Arnold’s attention.
"I've not spoken to him (Arnold) at all," Cummings told AAP. "If it happens I'd be buzzing obviously. I've given my everything for the Mariners ever since I came over here so if it comes along I'd be over the moon.
"I feel like I have embraced the competition and I've really enjoyed my time at the club."
Australia will have to beat the UAE firstly and then Peru in one-off games to make it to Qatar and Cummings would love to play a part.
"The last 10 games or so I think I had eight goals or something," he added. "I'm a striker who is always going to score goals, I've done that my whole career and hopefully I could add some goals for them.
"At the end of the day, it's not me who picks the team. If I did then obviously I'd pick myself."
