Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan says Cam Rayner is fit and raring to go as he prepares to play his first match in 12 months after recovering from a serious knee injury.
The Lions are priced at 11/4 to reach the 2022 NRL grand final and the fact that Rayner is now back available will give them a huge boost.
Rayner was left devastated after rupturing his ACL in a AAMI Community Series clash that ruled him out for the entire 2021 AFL campaign.
However the former No.1 draft pick is now back to fitness and after also overcoming some mental demons in pre-season, is ready to go again.

"I think he's excited about playing," Fagan told reporters ahead of the game. "He had a hit-out a couple of weeks ago against Adelaide at the ground (Metricon Stadium) where he did his knee, which was a bit of a traumatic day for him.
"He got through that game and played well. He missed (the AAMI Community Series match) against the Dogs because his dad wasn't well.
"Now that his dad's well he's jumping out of his skin to play. It's almost given him another outlook on life."
Brisbane get the season underway against Port Adelaide on Saturday night and Fagan has told 22-year-old Rayner he does not need to do anything out of the ordinary.
"All he's got to do tomorrow night is play his role, he doesn't have to play the house down, he's just got to play his role," Fagan added.
