Former Australia star Craig Foster believes that the Socceroos should make a move to recruit Marcelo Bielsa as their next head coach.
Bielsa is out of a job after being axed by Premier League strugglers Leeds United and Foster - who saw the Argentinian at work at the 2010 World Cup while he was in charge of Chile - has no doubts that he could help transform football in Australia.
He told Stan Sport FC: "Australia needs something special, we need something different, we need better thinking. Small nations like us, we can't be the same and he has the strength to be able to do that.
"We're not just talking about coaching the national team, we're talking about us trying to prepare for the next 15 years on to try and do something very special.
"We don't need a new coach, we need a revolution. He's a revolutionary.
"When I saw him with Chile, I watched the first game. I remember saying that is our football - that is Australia's football."

Bielsa, who has been succeeded by Jesse Marsch at Elland Road, has a wealth of experience from his time as a coach in South America and Europe.
As well as Chile he had a spell in charge of his homeland between 1998 and 2004, while on the club scene he has been in charge of the likes of Athletic Bilbao, Lazio and Marseille.
The highlight of his career came in 2004 when he led Argentina to Olympic glory in Athens.
Meanwhile, the Socceroos are fighting to qualify for the World Cup finals in Qatar, while Argentina are available at 10/1 to win the elite tournament for a third time.
