Central Coast Mariners forward Garang Kuol caught the eye of Barcelona coach Xavi when he starred for the A-League All-Stars in a 3-2 defeat against the La Liga giants.
The All-Stars took on Barca in Sydney on Wednesday night and it was Kuol who was the talk of the town after the game.
The 17-year-old has yet to start a game in the A-League but has shown his talent when firing home four goals in nine appearances from the bench.
Kuol did not look out of place in front of over 70,000 supporters at the Accor Stadium and went close to getting on the score sheet on a couple of occasions.

"Dwight told me he was 16 or 17, it was a big surprise," Xavi told reporters after the game. "He was very fast and we
conceded two or three chances because of him. He's a great player and he has a great future, he is a talent that is obvious."
Meanwhile All-Stars coach Dwight Yorke was also impressed. Yorke will see more of him in the A-League next season after
just accepting the job to coach Macarthur, and like Xavi he thinks Kuol has a bright future.
"I didn't know too much about him until I saw him close up and even then I was a little bit unsure," Yorke said. "We've had very limited time together, but you can see the talent that exists. He does surprise me, he certainly did surprise Barcelona. He should have got two goals and I'm pleased that the public get to see him because he's one for the future."
