Atlanta Hawks thrashed Charlotte Hornets 132-103 in the Eastern Conference 9-10 play-in game to set up a showdown with Cleveland Cavaliers, while New Orleans Pelicans overcame San Antonio Spurs.
Atlanta are 5/7 to win in the Money Line at Cleveland, while the Cavs can be backed at 6/5.
The Hawks reached the Eastern Conference finals last season but have endured a frustrating campaign this year after finishing in ninth place.
However, Atlanta still have a chance to reach the playoffs and they will take on Cleveland for the eighth seed on Friday night at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
Atlanta led 32-23 at the end of the first quarter against Charlotte and went on to record a convincing victory, despite LaMelo Ball's game-high 26 points for the Hornets.
Trae Young had 24 points and 11 assists for the Hawks, forward De'Andre Hunter added 22 points and Clint Capela record a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds.
If Atlanta manage to overcome the Cavs they will take on Miami Heat in the first round.
