Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley is not surprised by calls for him to lose his job as he has been in the game long enough to know that the knives are out when things go wrong.
Port have lost their opening three games of the 2022 AFL season and are priced at 19/10 to pull off a shock when they face reigning premiers Melbourne on Thursday night.
It has been a disastrous start to the season for Port, who were one of the hot fancies heading in to the new AFL season.
The last-gasp defeat against the Adelaide Crows in the Showdown last weekend was the last straw for some of the supporters who have called for a change at the top.

Hinkley says he is not surprised by all the noise as he has enough experience to know that is the way it works.
"When you have been in this game as long as I have, is almost the expectation for me, to be honest," Hinkley told reporters on Wednesday.
"I am the least surprised person at Port Adelaide right now at the criticism because I have been in footy forever."
Meanwhile Hinkley says he shares the frustration of the fans and is promising them he is doing all they can to turn things around.
"I can certainly share their frustration," he added. "But I do know that I am going to, as is the club and everyone that works with me at the club, we're going to work as hard as we can to ease the frustration for them and for me and for the players.
"Our responsibility is to work hard and get these results turned back around as quickly as we possibly can.”
