Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley insists his side can still make finals despite starting the 2022 AFL campaign with four straight losses.
The Power are priced at 19/10 to finish in the top eight and play finals but face a huge battle after Thursday’s 32-point loss to Melbourne.
Port will have to overcome the odds to make the eight. Only one side since 2000 have recovered from a 0-4 start to the season to play finals, and they will have to become the second.
However Hinkley insists it can be done and believes the situation can be turned around in the coming months.

Port were held to a goalless half against the reigning premiers, something they will have to address if they are to get back on track.
But Hinkley has assured the Port members they are working very hard to try and fix the situation.
"No-one is more frustrated than us, and we understand the fans' frustration because they want their team to be playing well.
"Our players and our coaching staff and our whole football club will stick together and work really hard to make sure we quickly get back on track somewhere close to what they would love us to be playing like. We're desperate for it to turn around.”
Just to make matters worse for Hinkley Trent McKenzie (knee) or Scott Lycett (shoulder) both picked up injuries and could be doubtful for the next game against Carlton.
