Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah, who is dealing with a sprained MCL in his left knee, says he is rehabilitating as quickly as possible for Sunday's Super Bowl because he's not missing the biggest game of his life.
It will be just a fortnight on from when Uzomah suffered the injury in the 17/10 Bengals' AFC Championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, the 29-year-old is determined to be on the field at SoFi Stadium to face the 1/2 Los Angeles Rams.
Uzomah missed the first two days of Bengals' practice at the University of Cincinnati's indoor bubble facility last week, but did reportedly do some rehab work with the team's athletic training staff.

"I'm not missing the biggest game of my life," he told reporters during Monday's virtual media day. "I'm not missing it. That's my approach going every day into rehab."
The former Auburn star hesitated to declare himself on pace to play, instead designating himself with the unofficial "day-to-day" injury prognosis.
"My mind is yes," Uzomah said when asked if he was going to be facing the Rams. "But for the sake of everyone else, I'm just going to say day-to-day."
Uzomah has caught 13 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown during the Bengal's playoff run, but was seen weeping as he was carted off the field in the AFC Championship Game.
"I had tears in my eyes because I wasn't being able to play, more so than just the pain," he explained on Monday.
"I was upset I wasn't going to be able to go out there and compete with the guys and help on the field, win the AFC championship."
