Perth Glory’s injury list is growing after Adrian Sardinero and Adam Zimarino both picked up knocks in the 1-0 defeat against Melbourne Victory on Wednesday night.
Glory are priced at 1/8 to pick up the first wooden spoon in their A-League history and are not being helped by a crippling injury list that now has 14 players on it.
Sardinero lasted just seven minutes of the game against Victory, while Zimarino took a knock to his ankle after coming on as late substitute.
The full severity of both injuries has yet to be revealed but they look sure to miss Sunday’s trip to take on the Newcastle Jets.

Glory’s interim head coach Ruben Zadkovich has concerns about the situation and says a tough travelling schedule is also not helping the situation.
"We're getting one training session, which is recovery plus tactical for me, so I'm cramming everything I can into these boys because I'm a firm believer of what I want to achieve and what the boys are capable of.
"Bit by bit, we lose more and more players and the task at hand grows and gets even harder."
Zadkovich is now set to call on more youngsters and if there is one positive they are gaining some crucial experience early in their careers.
"We'll keep building and we'll just look for room to improve," Zadkovich added. "There's still so much that these young boys can learn in these last few weeks and we're going to squeeze as much out of them as we can."
