Steve Kerr has played down the significance of Golden State's losing record against Boston Celtics during his tenure as Warriors coach ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals series.
The two teams meet for the series opener on Thursday and Golden State are 20/33 to win in the Money Line, while Boston can be backed at 29/20.

Kerr took charge of the Warriors in May 2014 and reached five successive NBA Finals series and won three championships in his first five seasons as Golden State coach.
In his eight years in charge, the 56-year-old has a winning record against every team in the NBA with one exception - Boston Celtics.
As the two teams play in different conferences they only meet twice in the regular season.
Kerr won his first two games against Boston as Dubs coach but since the Celtics have dominated with nine wins in the last 14 meetings, giving Kerr a 7-9 record against them as coach.

"Well, they've been really good," Kerr told 95.7 The Game's Damon Bruce and Ray Ratto when asked about his personal record against Golden State's Finals Series opponents.
"You look at the Celtics, I know there's a lot of focus on the fact that they haven't been to the Finals. But they've been to the conference finals four times over the last six years. Since I've been here, they've been very good."
He added: "They've always been really well coached, first under Brad [Stevens] and now under Ime [Udoka].
"They've always been very good defensively. So, they've had excellent teams. And we've had great matchups with them. We've had really interesting games."
