Dallas coach Jason Kidd has heaped the praise on Luka Doncic ahead of Saturday's home game against Sacramento Kings.
The Mavericks are 10/11 to beat the Kings with a -7.5 handicap in the Point Spread, while Doncic is 25/1 to win the regular season MVP award.
Doncic was named Western Conference Player of the Month for February after posting some impressive figures. The Slovenian averaged 34.7 points-per-game, 8.8 assists and 10.3 rebounds across 10 games last month and has made a strong start to March with 66 points in total across two games.
Doncic is averaging 27.8 points-per-game, 8.8 assists and 9.2 rebounds overall this season.
Kidd is delighted Doncic's recent performances have been recognised and he feels the rest of the Mavs squad deserve to take some credit as they fight for a top six seed in the West.
Dallas sit in fifth spot in the West with 19 games remaining and a 35-23 overall record, three-and-a-half games clear of Minnesota Timberwolves in seventh place.
"It's incredible what he's done here in the last month of February, and then continued to start the month of March off playing well," said Kidd, via Sportsnaut. "He's playing at a high level for us, and it also just shows [Player of the Month] is a team award, too, because they're not going to give it to someone whose team isn't winning."

Dallas can strengthen their hold on a top six seed with a win on Saturday but the Kings are still fighting for a play-in berth.
Sacramento are 13th with a 24-41 record and they are just four games behind New Orleans Pelicans in 10th, the final postseason place. The Kings need a strong finish to the season if they are to sneak into the top 10 but they have won two of their last three games and know a win on Saturday could reignite their bid to secure a place in the playoffs.
