King Of Swing showed why he is one of Australia's greatest ever pacers when taking out the Group1 A.G. Hunter Cup at Tabcorp Park Melton on Saturday night.
After landing gate one King Of Swing was the hot fancy heading into the race and with Luke McCarthy in the sulky he blew away his rivals in devastating fashion.
King Of Swing has become the first horse to win two Miracle Miles and two Hunter Cups, taking his earnings to $2.78million and putting him seventh on the list of all-time richest Australasian-bred pacers.
McCarthy, the husband of trainer Belinda McCarthy could not hide his delight after the win and says Kind Of Swing is one of the greatest.

"I’ve been so lucky throughout my career to drive a lot of great horses," McCarthy said after the win. "This is one of my favourite horses of all time, he’s big, he’s strong, he’s good gaited. He’s just done such an amazing job.
"It’s a massive thrill. I love driving at Melton, it’s one of my favourite tracks and to be able to win Victoria Cups and Hunter Cups, it’s a massive thrill."
King Of Swing dominated proceedings with stablemate Spirit Of St Louis the only horse to keep pace with him when taking second place.
Amazing Dream came in third with Mach Dan taking fourth and McCarthy was delighted with the way the race panned out.
"I was really worried about Amazing Dream on my back and obviously I tried to take it as easily as I possibly could and with Arty only being third-up we knew he probably wasn’t ready to go to war with (King Of Swing)," McCarthy added.
