Wellington Phoenix secured a stoppage time victory over Perth Glory on Saturday but have big concerns over Clayton Lewis who appears to have suffered a serious injury.
The Nix are pushing to finish in the top six of the A-League and boosted their chances with a dramatic late win at Leichardt Oval.
With the scores level at 1-1 Nicholas Pennington scored seven minutes into injury time at the end of the game to secure the win.
All the extra time came from an injury to Lewis who needed lengthy treatment on the pitch before being carried off on a stretcher. Lewis was left in agony when lunging for a ball and the Nix confirmed after the game it does not look good.

Giancarlo Italiano took charge of the Wellington side as boss Ufuk Talay was sick and he said he feared the worst for Lewis.
"In terms of Clay, it's very disappointing,” he told reporters after the game. “He's going to hospital for a scan. "I'd be speculating but it's a possible dislocation or fracture. It's a significant blow because Clay has been so good for us all year."
Talay fell ill on his birthday of all days and Italiano was just happy to get all three points and hopefully cheer him up.
"The win was fantastic for our boys, they showed a lot of guts," Italiano added. "My objective was to get Uffy three points for his birthday. I caught wind of this last night so I had all day to prepare.”
