Brisbane Lions have been boosted by the news Joe Daniher does not need to undergo surgery on his shoulder but he is still looking at up to six weeks on the sidelines.
The Lions are priced at 15/8 to reach the 2022 AFL grand final and they will be keen to get Daniher back in their side a soon as possible.
Daniher picked up the injury against the Sydney Swans at the weekend and there were fears he could be looking at a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Therefore the Lions are pretty relieved to hear that Daniher will be on the treatment table for just a month to six weeks after scans showed no serious damage.

Daniher has suffered a soft-tissue injury and the result of the scan is the best possible outcome for everyone at the club.
"The outcome today is a fairly good one with Joe not requiring surgery on the shoulder and we can just focus on rehabilitating and getting strength back into it," Brisbane football manager Danny Daly said.
"While it is disappointing for Joe to miss a few games after stringing together so many consecutively, we’re confident we have the forward line depth to cover it whilst he focuses on getting back on the park."
Daniher has been a revelation since arriving from Essendon and has booted 65 goals in 31 games for the Lions.
