Brisbane star Harris Andrews says the Lions are more determined than ever to make up for the disappointment of failing to win a grand final in recent seasons by going all the way this year.
The Lions are priced at 7/1 to win the 2022 Grand Final and bury the heartache of the last three seasons that has seen them show much promise but fail to deliver the flag.
The Lions are in their "premiership window" but despite finishing in the top four in each of the last three seasons they have yet to make it to the grand final, never mind win it.
They have won just one of six finals matches and last season's straight sets exit hit them hard.

But Andrews insists the players have dusted themselves down, are working hard in training and are desperate for success in the season ahead.
"It was a real sour end to last year – I know it hurt a lot of the boys," Andrews told reporters.
"As a group we came together and said we want to do something about it, so the guys spent a lot of time in Brissie over the break training hard.
"We’ve got a really strong list at the moment. We broke that down a little bit when we came back to training, and identified that we’re right in that (premiership) window.
"The last three years we’ve been able to get into finals but haven’t been able to perform at that end of the year, and that’s been really disappointing, and where that hunger’s coming from.
"The boys are really hungry, training hard (and) working hard off the field to do everything they can to put us in the best position they can going into the season."
