Kerrin McEvoy will be bidding to win a second Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield this weekend when he gets aboard the John O'Shea-trained Minhaaj.
The daughter of Exceed And Excel was formerly trained by Lindsay Park, for whom she won three of her nine starts, before being purchased by Rosemont Stud and subsequently transferred to the O'Shea yard - and is 7/1 to triumph on Saturday.
Since then, the four-year-old has remained unbeaten for her Randwick-based trainer, scoring back-to-back Group 3 wins in the Nivison over 1200 metres and the Begonia Belle over 1100 metres in October last year.
McEvoy has been aboard Minhaaj in her two trials this campaign in preparation for Saturday's first-up outing and will take over the raceday reins from James McDonald, who has ridden the mare in both outings for O'Shea to date.

"She looks a nice chance in the race for me," McEvoy said. "John spoke to me early in the year about her and she has come back in great order."
"Her first trial was excellent, her second trial just the same and she has got the right sort of profile to be competitive in this race."
"She's got a nice, light weight on her back and she's going to be a force to be reckoned with for sure."
Minhaaj has drawn barrier one in Saturday's Group 1 contest and will carry 52 kilograms in the 13-strong field.
