Championship - Football: Midweek Boosted Bet Builders

A full midweek round of EFL Championship action awaits with bet365 offering Boosted Bet Builders on every game.

Sheff Utd v QPR

A slight wobble at the weekend saw the previously imperious Sheffield United drop points for the first time since August and concede their first goal in five games.

The home draw with Birmingham saw Oli McBurnie score again however, the 26-year-old striker grabbed his fifth goal in six games as the Blades held on to top spot in the Championship, extending their unbeaten league run to 10 games.

QPR are no easy visitors though, with Michael Beale’s men only registering one loss in their last seven games. Rangers remain in the play-offs and six points behind the league leaders.

United have beaten QPR in the last five meetings between the clubs in a run stretching back to 2017 and recorded a league double over the R’s last season, scoring four goals and conceding just one.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Sheff Utd
Sander Berge to Score Anytime in the Match
Over 2 Goals in the Match for Both Teams Combined

Was 13/2 >> Boosted to 8/1

QPR are among the top scorers in the Championship this season with 16 goals from their opening 11 games. Midfielder Ilias Chair continues to impress as the league’s most creative force, leading the assist charts so far this campaign with five whilst also pitching in with three goals.

The London side beat free-scoring Bristol City away in at the weekend to continue their decent away form this season of three wins from six games on the road.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Draw or QPR
Ilias Chair to Score Anytime in the Match
Over 1 Goals in the Match for Both Teams Combined

Was 9/1 >> Boosted to 12/1

Reading v Norwich

Two of the front-runners in the Championship this season clash as third-placed Reading host second-placed Norwich. The Royals hold the best home record in the division and will replace the visitors in the automatic promotion places with a win.

Reading are yet to draw a game this season and have won the joint most games in the Championship with seven victories from 11 games. Paul Ince’s men will hope to end a poor run of form against the Canaries who they haven’t beaten since 2016.

Star striker Lucas Joao is fit again after missing the start of the season through injury.  He has three goals in his last eight games and will hope to find scoring form again after a run of three games without a goal since his brace against Stoke last month.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Reading or Draw
Eduardo Lucas Joao to Score Anytime in the Match
Both Teams to Score in the Match – Yes

Was 5/1 >> Boosted to 13/2

Norwich lost their first two games on the road this season but have turned a corner in recent weeks with three wins on the spin away from home.

Dean Smith has his Canaries singing again in the league, unbeaten in eight games, with seven wins and one draw coming in that time as they chase promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt – again.

Finnish forward Teemu Pukki is back amongst the goals again this campaign, the 32-year-old has found the net four times in his last four games, including the winner away at Blackpool last time out.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Norwich
Teemu Pukki to Score Anytime in the Match
Over 1 Goals in the Match for Both Teams Combined

Was 10/3 >> Boosted to 9/2

Watford v Swansea

Watford may be infamous in English football for their ruthlessness in sacking managers, but few can argue that the controversial axe wielded by the Pozzo family often tends to get immediate results. Slaven Bilic is the newest man in charge of the Hornets and his first game produced an emphatic 4-0 victory over Stoke.

Bilic has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal and his side have found the net at least once at Vicarage Road in every Championship game this season.

Goals should be on the agenda for this one as Watford haven’t produced a goalless stalemate at home for 62 Championship matches and Swansea have scored six in their last two games.

Loan striker Keinan Davis has two goals in his last two matches, and both he and fellow forward Ismaila Sarr scored second half goals in the victory away in the Potteries last weekend.

The Swans have recovered from a shaky start to their campaign to earn three victories in their last four matches, including a last minute winner away at West Brom last time out.

Selected Bet Builder:

Keinan Davis to Score Anytime in the Match
Match result will be Watford
Over 8 Corners in the Match for Both Teams Combined

Was 13/2 >> Boosted to 15/2
