The Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained Xtravagant Star displayed her Inglis Millenium credentials when scoring a stylish win in her trial at Randwick on Monday.
The daughter of Xtravagant is currently a 16/1 shot for the feature race at Randwick on 5th February after winning at Geelong on debut earlier this month.
Ridden in Monday's trial by Chad Schofield, the two-year-old won as she liked from the front in the day's quickest time of 43.55 seconds.
Co-trainer Tony McEvoy was encouraged by the effort, with just under two weeks until the $2 million Inglis Millenium.
"I hope she can do that race day," McEvoy told Racing.com. "She's up there for the Millenium and she'll go into that now off the back of that.
"It's been a bit of a rush as we've had to get her straight up to Sydney and get her experienced on that leg. Hopefully she can handle all that - she's handled it so far."

The $150,000 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale purchase will be bidding to join a roll of honour that includes inaugural winner Castelvecchio, 2020 winner Prime Star and last year's winner Profiteer.
With her sire having shown continued improvement through his career, connections are confident it will be the same case for this filly.
McEvoy acknowledges that greater patience could be rewarded but admits he has found it impossible to ignore the rewards on offer by sending her to Randwick, with all the action set to be on the Sports Live Streaming platform.
"She's by Xtravagant so next prep she'll be even better again but when you are eligible for this sort of prize-money, it's hard to pass up," McEvoy added.
