Central Coast Mariners boss Nick Montgomery says it felt like two points dropped as they fought out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Macarthur FC on Thursday night.
The Mariners are priced at 11/10 to finish in the top six of the A-League and Montgomery will be hoping his side are not left to rue the dropped points at the end of the season.
The Mariners may have settled for a point with 33 minutes gone after Tommy Oar and Adrian Mariappa had fired the visitors 2-0 in front.
However they were handed a lifeline in the 39th minute when Aleksandar Susnjar put through his own goal to halve the deficit before goals from Oliver Bozanic and Moresche put them 3-2 in front.

Moresche's goal game in the 86th minute and Montgomery was disappointed his side could not see the game out as Craig Noone equalised in the 90th minute.
"We went 3-2 up and we should've seen the game out," Montgomery told reporters after the game.
"It feels like two points dropped. They had two great goals but other than that I don't feel they really troubled us and it feels harsh now, but we've got to learn from it."
Bulls boss Ante Milicic was happy to take the point and move on ahead of a game with Brisbane Roar.
"I thought we played some good football in the first half and then the game got stretched and there was fatigue from both teams," Milicic added.
"We probably copped a few harsh (decisions) tonight but we move on, I'm more interested with how the boys recover and prepare for Brisbane."
