Brooklyn Nets are set to sign veteran Goran Dragic to boost their options in the guard positions after losing James Harden to Philadelphia 76ers.
The Nets are 5/1 to win the NBA Championship outright.
Dragic spent the first half of the season at Toronto but made just five appearances for the Raptors. The former Miami Heat star was traded to San Antonio Spurs at the trade deadline but Dragic then agreed to a buyout and became a free agent.
Agent Bill Duffy has now stated the 35-year-old is to join Brooklyn for the remainder of the season as the Nets look to bring in some reinforcements.
The Nets received Ben Simmons as part of the deal for Harden but it remains unclear as to when the Australian will be available to feature after sitting out the entire first half of the season with the Sixers.
Kyrie Irving remains unavailable for home games, leaving the Nets short on numbers but the arrival of Dragic gives them another option and plenty of experience.

The Slovenian point guard may have been used sparingly by Toronto this season but he is in his 14th season in the NBA and played a key role in Miami's run to the NBA Finals in 2020.
Dragic also played alongside Nets coach Steve Nash at Phoenix Suns when he first made the move to the USA, having spent the early stages of his professional career in his native Slovenia.
Brooklyn, who will waive Jevon Carter to make room on their roster for Dragic, are understood to have beaten competition from Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers to sign the veteran guard.
