The Broncos are priced at 17/10 to finish in the top four of the NRL but Haas dropped a bombshell last week when asking for a release from his current contract.
The star forward is after a pay upgrade and when the Broncos said no deal, Haas asked if he could be released to join another club. Brisbane said no and now all talks are on hold until the end of the season.
The request did not go down well with the Broncos fans and he was booed when he took to the field against the Gold Coast Titans last week.

Even so Haas says he has no regrets and he is now looking forward to playing State of Origin with New South Wales in game one on Wednesday.
“I am grateful to Freddy (NSW coach Brad Fittler) for choosing me,” Haas said. “I don’t regret it. It is what it is, I can’t change the situation. I was a bit shocked from all the boos, but I understand why they did that and the timing of it all.
“That is in the past and I am over it now. [Broncos coach] Kevvie [Walters] said at least I will be used to it if I get to go to Suncorp Stadium with the Blues for Origin III.
“If there are people I may have hurt. I am sorry for that. At the end of the day, I am trying to do what is best for my family and what is right for them.”
