After beating the Detroit Red Wings 6-1 on Sunday to record a 10th win in a row, Coach Andrew Brunette said he believes the Florida Panthers are performing to their very best.
The Panthers, 11/2 to win the Stanley Cup in 2021/22, have enjoyed the best regular season in their franchise history and with victory over the Red Wings, reached 50 points on the road which breaks the club record of 48 set in 2015/16.
With a season record of 54-15-6, Florida leads the Atlantic Division and sit second in the overall NHL standings. Their 114 points is just two behind the Colorado Avalanche in the battle for the Presidents' Trophy.

Florida's current winning streak is the longest active in the NHL and is two short of their franchise best of 12 set between December 2015 and January 2016.
48-year-old Brunette joined the Panthers as an assistant coach in June 2019 and took on the head coaching role earlier this season when Joel Quenneville resigned on 28th October.
Brunette said to the media: "I didn't even realise we had gotten to 10. I just know I have really liked the way we have played in the last three or four games. We're bringing our top game every night and when we do that, we're tough to beat."
