Wellington Phoenix coach Ufuk Talay saluted a "very good" performance from his side as they climbed to fifth on the A-League ladder with a 3-0 win over Brisbane Roar.
The Nix are priced at 9/4 to finish in the top six and play finals football and if they carry on the way they are going they will do it with ease.
Wellington have picked up four wins from their last five games to charge up the ladder and they are now level on points with fourth-placed Sydney FC.
The Nix were leading 1-0 at half-time thanks to English defender Scott Wootton's first goal for the club before Gael Sandoval and Reno Piscopo completed the scoring in the second half.
Talay reveals Reds turning point
"Very good performance.," Talay told media post-game. “This is our fourth game in 11 days [and] the boys backed it up very well.
"I think it was a dominant display with and without the ball tonight and we scored some really good goals."
The Nix were bottom the ladder 10 days ago but following a hectic schedule and impressive run of form they are just three points behind Western United in top spot.
Talay is delighted with the run but accepts there is still a long way to go before they are guaranteed a finals spot.
"I think we’re building momentum. Performance wise I think we’re growing each game and hopefully that continues," Talay added. "There’s a lot of confidence within the group and the football that we’re playing.
"There’s still a long way to go, there’s still a lot of matches to be played, but that’s the aim to make the top six and play finals football."
