Driver Mark Pitt believes Treachery can be up there with the best mares in the stable after taking out Saturday night’s Allied Express Richmond Lass.
Treachery is trained by Emma Stewart, who also has superstars such as Ladies In Red and Tough Tilly in her stable, and she has lived in their shadows.
However after an impressive win on Saturday night, Pitt says Treachery has shown she can be a big success in her own right.
The victory came after two wins from two starts since returning from a spell. That included a group three success a fortnight ago.

On this occasion Treachery edged out Dougs Babe in a photo finish to take the win and Pitt believes she is a different horse since returning to action.
“She has raced some of the better mares but I'll tell you what, this time in I think she has taken the next step and I really don't think she's that far off some of the better mares,” Pitt said after the race.
“Obviously she might have to be driven a little bit conservative against some of them, but I do think that she is right up there with them.”
In the other Group three of the night it was Ultimate Stride that took out the I Didnt Do It Trotters Free For All.
In just his third start for the Chris Lang stable, Ultimate Stride edged out Travel Bug to take the win, while Mclovin came in third.
