Front-rowers Jesse Bromwich and Christian Welch are both honoured to have been named as captains by Melbourne Storm for the new season.
Bromwich was already part of the leadership team, while Welch has moved up to take the place of Dale Finucane, who has joined Cronulla Sharks, who are 7/2 to secure a top-four finish this season.
And both men are hoping to use their experience to help the Storm regain the NRL Premiership they won in 2020 by beating Penrith Panthers 26-20 in the Grand Final.

Bromwich, who has already decided to move on at the end of the coming campaign, told his club’s official website: "It's a role I cherish and really enjoyed last year, although we didn't have the ending we were after.
"It is something unusual to have two front-rowers captaining a team, but I believe the different qualities we can bring to the position will really assist us as the season rolls on.
"I'm looking forward to the contributions we can make to the club's on and off-field efforts in 2022."
Meanwhile, Welch added: "I've been fortunate to be part of this club for a decade now. It's been a huge part of my life.
"Being captain, especially alongside Jesse, is a great honour and it was something of a surprise to be asked to do the job this year.
"Storm puts on a lot of onus on developing our leadership skills and I feel like I'm really well prepared to step into the role from round one."
