Nathan Purdon is chasing a Group 1 double at Tabcorp Park Menangle on Saturday night with Amore Vita and Spellbound both in the mix for glory.
Amore Vita will race in the NSW Oaks while Spellbound is set to contest the Queen Elizabeth II Mile, and Purdon has high hopes for both of them.
Amore Vita is in great form and has won five races on the bounce since finishing runner-up in the Breeders Crown two-year-old fillies final back in November.
She will jump from barrier nine as she looks to make it six and Purdon is confident his filly has what it takes to get the job done.

Amore Vita will be up against Madrid, who has drawn in four and is also in good touch after winning a heat last week, but Purdon is in a bullish mood ahead of the race.
"She is a filly with the right ability to win the race," Purdon said. "She is pretty versatile, so Chris (Alford) will make his mind up as the race unfolds. She can sit parked if she has to or is capable of sitting off them if we can slot in somewhere and if the speed is on."
Spellbound will go in the race before and just like her stablemate she will jump from barrier nine when she contests the Queen Elizabeth.
And again Purdon is expecting his charging to be in the mix as the finish line approaches.
"It’s not the worst draw in the world for her as often the race opens up when there are four or five genuine chances," Purdon added. "She is probably the fastest mare I’ve driven for point to point speed, so she can sit off them and come with one run over the last 400 metres."
