Adelaide United coach Carl Veart says his players are confident they can pull off an upset by beating Melbourne City and booking their place in the A-League grand final.
The Reds are priced at 6/1 to win the grand final but first of all they have a semi-final second leg to negotiate against the reigning premiers.
The tie is delicately balanced following a 0-0 draw at Coopers Stadium in the first leg and the Reds must now travel to Melbourne and get a result.
Western United are waiting in the final and Veart believes his players have what it takes to join them.

"The boys are very confident. They've pulled up very well from the game on Wednesday," Veart said.
"We know it's our third game in seven days but...they're feeling very fresh. It's an important game and when finals come around, all the players want to play, because they're big games."
Adelaide beat Melbourne City 2-1 on their own patch earlier this season while the other games ended in draw. And Veart is expecting another close encounter on Sunday.
"The game on Wednesday was very similar to the three previous games we had against them," Veart added. "They were quite close, entertaining games and I think the game tomorrow will be very similar to what it was on Wednesday
"Hopefully though we can get a couple of goals and keep them to a clean sheet again. It's very difficult but our defence did a great job on Wednesday to keep them to limited opportunities and hopefully we can do that again tomorrow."
