Bold Star will be aiming to get back into the winners' enclosure for the first time in nearly two and a half years.
Trainer Gordon Richards is hoping that the son of Needs Further can put his issues behind him when he lines up in the Listed Hills Railway Stakes at Oakbank, for which he is 33/1.
The six-year-old hasn't won since taking out the Listed Kensington Stakes at Flemington on January 18, 2020, but has shown he still has the talent with several placings at Group 2 and 3 level, along with numerous starts in Group 1 races.

"He had a few issues last prep, nothing serious but he just needed a break, come back, and I think he's come back well," Richards told Racing.com.
"His work's good, he's well in himself, he gets his chance. I'll judge him this time around by what he does on Saturday.
"He does like Oakbank. His first up run in the Manihi at Morphettville wasn't sensational, but it wasn't that bad, he was pretty wide on the track, he nearly ran back to the car he was that wide.
"He's drawn off the track again (barrier 16), but sometimes that's not such a bad thing at Oakbank when they come right down that hill, they can be all over the place."
