Mark Rudan is calling for patience and says it will take a bit of time for his Western Sydney Wanderers players to adapt to his style of football.
Western Sydney are looking to finish in the top six of the A-League this season but there will need to be a big improvement to get them there.
Rudan has been in charge for six games since replacing the sacked Carl Robinson but has only managed to pick up two wins as the Wanderers remain in ninth place on the ladder.
The Wanderers boss accepts that wins are needed as soon as possible but a lack of time on the training pitch due to the hectic schedule is not helping him to get his philosophy across.

"Some players probably weren't in the right condition for the way I like to play in the attacking third," he told reporters. "They're good boys and they understand what's required of them.
"The bar is high and the mindset has to change and I've shown through my selection that names are irrelevant. It's about doing the work."
Meanwhile Rudan also believes his players only start playing when they go a goal behind and he is keen for them to be on their game from the very first whistle.
"I get the feeling that we play when it's 1-0 down and we put the accelerator on," he added. "We need to change the mentality so when it's 0-0 we need to play, rather than we're 1-0 down. I've seen heads drop when we concede when I first arrived.
"Mistakes happen and games are full of mistakes, but your reaction is always more important. I like a positive reaction when things happen.
"We saw that in the Sunday game when we went after them when we were away from home, but it's all a learning curve for us."
