John Sadler is looking forward to Adele Amour stepping out at Caulfield on Saturday when the three-year-old takes her chance in the VOBIS Gold Mile.
The trainer initially thought that the filly was not eligible to run in the $250,000 contest when throwing a nomination in for the sake of it, but when it turned out that she can line up in the race, for which she is priced at 9/2, that pleased him even more.
Adele Amour, who has two wins and a further two minor placings, will head back to Caulfield off the back of a last start success over 1400 metres earlier in the month and you can follow all the action on our Sports Live Streaming hub.

Speaking about his charge ahead of Saturday's race, Sadler said: "I thought I'd have to run her in the Open event over 1600 metres, but she'd have been less suited to that."
Apprentice Alana Kelly. who was on board the daughter of Sebring for the first time last start, will once again take the ride with the pair set to jump from barrier three in the race which has attracted a field of 12.
Among her rivals on the weekend will be the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Junipal, who will be having her first run outside of stakes company since winning over 1700 metres at Caulfield way back in September 2020.
