Golden State Warriors have confirmed forward James Wiseman won't be involved in the remainder of the season as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
Golden State are 23/4 to win the NBA Championship outright, while Western Conference rivals Memphis Grizzlies can be backed at 25/1.
Wiseman suffered a torn right meniscus in April last year and underwent surgery to repair the injury.
The 20-year-old forward hasn't played this season but was assigned to Golden State's NBA G League affiliate team Santa Cruz Warriors earlier this month to play games before a potential return to action with the Dubs.
However, Wiseman has suffered a setback in his recovery and it has now been confirmed he won't return until next year, although there are no plans for further surgery.

"Ultimately, very simple: We're protecting James' future," said Warriors coach Steve Kerr, via ESPN. "It makes the most sense to take this route. Again, I feel terrible for James. He's been through so much already in just two seasons. But, his long-term health looks good, the knee looks sound. It's just a decision that makes the most sense for his own best interest, and his as well."
Golden State selected Wiseman with the second overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft but he managed just 39 games in his rookie season due to injury.
The youngster did manage three G League games for Santa Cruz, averaging 17 points and 9.7 rebounds, before swelling in his right knee ended his time with the team and ultimately his chances of returning for Golden State this season.
