Trainer Jack MacKinnon accepts Silver Power is not at her best but still thinks his mare will go well when she takes to the track at Tabcorp Park on Saturday night.
The New Zealand-born mare will race in the Group 1 TAB Sumthingaboutmaori Trotters Free For All and MacKinnon does not think his charge will disgrace herself against top company.
Whatever happens in the race MacKinnon says she will be better for the run as she has not raced for six weeks.
Silver Power could be a bit rusty but MacKinnon believes she could fight her way into the mix of things.

“She will need the run as she isn’t 100 per cent wound up, but I’m sure she won’t disgrace herself,” he said.
“This mare has been doing most of her racing over long trips from the stand, so the distance of Saturday night’s race should suit her."
Looking further ahead, MacKinnon also has his eyes on the rest of the country cups circuits with Silver Power.
“I’ll see how she pulls up, but all going well her next start will be in a country cup,” he added.
Silver Power will be up against the hot fancy Im Ready Jet on Saturday and MacKinnon has first-hand experience of what she can do.
“I drove Im Ready Jet in her first two starts and I don’t think Silver Power can beat her, it would be nice to sit on her back,” he said.
