Best Of Bordeaux has emerged as a genuine contender for the Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes in March after winning the Canonbury Stakes at Rosehill.
The two-year-old handed trainer Kacy Fogden the biggest win of her career with the Group 3 triumph and Best Of Bordeaux can be backed at 16/1 to win the Golden Slipper on 19th March, which you can follow on our Sports Live Streaming hub.
The Aquis Farm-raced colt showed an impressive turn of foot to beat Rakomelo by four and three-quarter lengths, while Flashing Steel was a further half a length away in third.

Speaking about the victory, Fogden said: "That was a bit exciting. I was a little bit worried there for a little bit, I thought he might have been over-racing but he kept true to the task and stuck on nicely.
"He travelled down to (Sydney trainer) Gerald (Ryan's) last week and he has just settled in so well. He is quite a gentleman really, I was really pleased with him today."
Fogden admitted she wasn't sure how Best Of Bordeaux, a $425,000 yearling purchase raced by the Fung family of Aquis Farm fame and breeder Gerry Harvey, would line up against the Sydney youngsters but the $5 million feature is now a serious target.
The young trainer is still weighing up the best way to get there with the Group 2 Skyline Stakes over 1200 metres at Randwick on 26th February a possibility.
