South Sydney coach Jason Demetriou is well aware his Rabbitohs side face a massive task when they take on Penrith at the Panthers Stadium on Friday night.
Souths are priced at 2/1 to win the game, but the Panthers have not lost on home soil since 2019 and the bunnies face a huge job.
Canberra were the last side to beat Penrith at home towards the end of the 2019 season. Since then Ivan Cleary’s side have gone on to win 18 from 18.
Souths head to Penrith for a re-match of last season’s grand final, which the Panthers won, and Demetriou knows his side have a big job on their hands.

"It's a massive challenge," Demetriou told reporters ahead of the game. "Nobody has beaten them there since 2019 and we've got a test against the best.
"It's an impressive record and they do what they do in most games and they've not lost many games away from home to be fair. They put you in tough areas and they're pretty ruthless with their line-speed and their defence and they capitalise on their field position."
Meanwhile Panthers star Stephen Crichton is in no doubt the passionate home fans give them the edge throughout games.
"I feel safe," he said. "They (the Panthers fans) give us good confidence when we come out for warm-ups and things like that.
"They really chant for us, which gives us a massive confidence boost, which is heaps good and the boys love playing here because it's one of our last seasons (at the ground)."
