Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra is confident his team will end their losing run soon and says their current slump could benefit them in the long run.
Miami have lost three games in a row ahead of Thursday's trip to San Antonio. The Heat are 10/17 to win in the Money Line and the Spurs can be backed at 6/4.
Miami's losing run started with an overtime home defeat to Toronto Raptors and they have since lost at Boston Celtics and Toronto after two games of a six-game road trip.
The Heat are dealing with injury issues and have five players unavailable for the game at San Antonio, including Kyle Lowry.
The Heat have relinquished top spot in the Eastern Conference after their three-game losing run and they now sit second behind Chicago Bulls.

Spoelstra however has no major concerns and he feels his team will benefit from coming through a tough spell when they do manage to get back to winning ways.
"These kind of opportunities during the course of a season, I think are really important when it doesn't feel great," said Spoelstra, via the Miami Herald.
"Where you have to battle against fatigue and traveling and four games in five nights, I think it builds character. ... These will be teaching moments for our team."
After the game against the Spurs, the Heat face trips to Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards and New Orleans Pelicans before they return to Miami for a home game against Brooklyn Nets on Saturday 12th February.
