Veteran forward Joe Pavelski insists the Dallas Stars are taking it one game at a time in the run-in to claim a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Stars, 33/1 to win the Stanley Cup, beat the Chicago Blackhawks 6-4 on Sunday to take their season record to 41-27-4 which ranks fifth in the Central Division.
Crucially for the Stars, they currently hold the second Wild Card spot from the Western Conference - two points ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights with one game in hand and they are one behind the Nashville Predators for first place.
Seven of the Stars' final 10 games are at home, where they’re 22-10-2 for the season.
Amongst their opponents are the Seattle Kraken, Arizona Coyotes and Anaheim Ducks, who have all been eliminated from play-off contention.
The Golden Knights also travel to Dallas for a crunch clash on 26th April.

Pavelski leads the Stars with 72 points (27 goals, 45 assists) and has warned his team not to rely on their home-ice advantage as they seek to return to the play-offs after missing out last season - a year after making the Stanley Cup Final in 2020.
He said to the media: "I mean, it sounds nice (the home set of fixtures), but we can't overlook that first one. You've got to get off to a good start.
"So it really is cliche, but we're focused on that next game and not looking too far ahead, trying to get rest when we can, recover."
