Forwards Kevin Fiala and Mats Zuccarello each extended their point streak to 10 games for the Minnesota Wild in a 3-2 win against the New York Rangers on Friday with Fiala saying the pair are continuously pushing each other.
The Wild, 15/1 to win the Stanley Cup in 2021/22, had a goal and assist each from Zuccarello and Fiala to defeat the Rangers and extend the team winning streak to four games.
25-year-old Fiala and 34-year-old Zuccarello have tied the record for second-longest point streak in Wild history behind Mikael Granlund (12, 2016/17).
Fiala has amassed 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in the ten games and Zuccarello 18 points (five goals, 13 assists). The elder Zuccarello has also scored multiple points in a Wild record six consecutive games (13 points: four goals, nine assists).

Fiala said to the media: "I'm very confident, the whole team is rolling so that's very fun.
"[Zuccarello] is having a great season, but it's not a competition, of course not. We just push each other. That's the great thing about our group is we have so many good guys, all the lines are rolling and pushing each other, it doesn't matter who scores."
