Reinsman James Herbertson believes Sundons Courage has what it takes to win the Aldebaran Park The Knight Pistol, but he will need everything to go to plan in the Group 1 feature on Saturday night.
Herbertson has been in the sulky for Sundons Courage's last two starts and says the nine-year-old is capable of giving a good account of himself in the Knight Pistol.
Sundons Courage will jump from gate two and Herbertson says the aim will be to find the pegs and dictate the race from there if possible.
If all goes to plan the reinsman says Sundons Courage is capable of holding off the rest of the field to add to his 23 career wins so far.

"Hatchback (barrier one) ran a good race last week, but he is up in class quite significantly in this race," Herbertson told reporters ahead of the race.
"We will probably do our best to get to the pegs. In this class of race around Melton, you probably want to be on the pegs, so if we can slip across, have a helmet behind the likes of Always Ready then that would be perfect really. From there, I'm sure he'd go pretty close."
Herbertson admits he is still getting to know Sundons Courage but has seen enough to predict he will be in the mix for Group 1 glory.
"First thing's first, I'll probably just try and get across and then pick which one we hand up to," he added.
"I've only driven him a couple of times so I'm still working him out a little bit, how far to push him and that, but he's a quality horse and he's so consistent. I'm sure he'll be thereabouts."
