Trainer Steve Turnbull says he is not there to make up the numbers when his fillies Pas De Cheval and London Legs race in the heats of the New South Wales Oaks.
Turnbull's duo will take on a star-studded line-up at Tabcorp Park Menangle but the trainers believes they have what it takes to go all the way.
Pas De Cheval has already shown plenty of promise after winning two heats of the New South Wales Breeder Challenge and Turnbull set his charge specifically for the Oaks.
She will go in heat one and Turnbull is confident his filly will be right in the mix.
Sangue Reale back to winning ways
"Pas De Cheval is a tough little girl with a lot of ability," said Turnbull. "We gave her a let up after the Breeders Challenge and she has come back really well. Her two trials have been sharp, and I expect her to run a good race as Amanda always gets the best out of her."
Meanwhile London Legs has been in good form and again Turnbull thinks he will go well in heat two of the Oaks at Menangle.
"London Legs deserves a crack at the Oaks as her form at home has been solid. She had a soft trip at Blayney but won comfortably posting 2.00.5, a respectable time around the small track," he added.
"Our team has performed well of late at headquarters of late. In particular, Smooth Baht won impressively last week, and he just keeps getting stronger with each run down there."
