Championship - Football: Weekend Boosted Bet Builders

As the international break comes to an end and the EFL returns, bet365 have boosted Bet Builders available on every Championship game this weekend.

Blackpool vs Norwich City

Serial promotion contenders Norwich City are at it again!

Undefeated in seven games, the Canaries are perched back in the automatic promotion places after taking a little while to acclimatise back to life in the second tier and look well set to maintain their charge towards a third promotion in as many Championship campaigns.

Blackpool surprised many last season by comfortably avoiding relegation, but it will be a tough ask to replicate those achievements this term, especially on the back of losing manager Neil Critchley and star player Josh Bowler during the summer months.

Norwich head into this weekend’s clash as the joint-third highest scorers in the division, and striker Josh Sargent has been bang in form, netting an impressive six goals in 11 games.

Many will expect goals at Bloomfield Road on Saturday, especially from a Norwich perspective.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Norwich
Josh Sargent to Score Anytime in the Match
Over 3 Goals in the Match for Both Teams Combined

Was 7/1 >> Boosted to 17/2

The Tangerines are back on home soil for the first time since late August, and will be desperate to make it a profitable return to HQ on the back of successive defeats against Rotherham United and Millwall on the road.

Loan star Charlie Patino is already establishing himself as one of the brightest young talents in the league, and his goal for the England U20 side during the break will only have served to further boost his confidence – especially on the back of scoring last time out in the Championship, against Millwall, too.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Blackpool or Draw
Charlie Patino to Score Anytime in the Match
Over 7 Corners in the Match for Both Teams Combined

Was 16/1 >> Boosted to 20/1

Cardiff City v Burnley

Meanwhile, managerless Cardiff City will be hoping to bounce back from a poor run of form as they play host to in-form Burnley in the Welsh capital.

Former boss Steve Morison was given his marching orders earlier this month after a run of just one victory from their previous seven league fixtures left the Bluebirds hovering precariously above the drop zone.

Burnley, by contrast, look a side transformed since the arrival of former Manchester City skipper Kompany, with the Belgian reimagining the Clarets into a technically astute, free-flowing side, who look more than capable of ensuring their stay back in the second-tier proves a short one.

They have only lost once this season and head to Wales fourth in the Championship, boasting a proven Championship marksman in Jay Rodriguez, whose five goals to date have helped establish the side as the second highest scorers in 2022/23.

Kompany and co will rightly fancy their chances of maintaining their good run of form on Saturday afternoon.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Burnley
Jay Rodriguez to Score Anytime in the Match
Both Teams to Score in the Match – Yes

Was 9/1 >> Boosted to 12/1

Sheffield United v Birmingham City

The Blades are the early pace-setters in the Championship this season and look strong favourites to cement their position at the summit of the league table this weekend.

The league’s joint highest scorers also boast the second best defensive record too, and Birmingham City, despite impressing themselves thus far, will have to go some to blunt the Blades in their own backyard.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side have been led by goals from Oli McBurnie and Iliman Ndiaye, who have notched a combined nine goals in 18 games, and both will be eager to maintain their early season form at Bramall Lane.

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Sheff Utd
Iliman-Cheikh Ndiaye to Score Anytime in the Match
Oliver McBurnie to Score Anytime in the Match

Was 7/1 now Boosted to 17/2

Given United’s impressive form, it’s easy to overlook the Blues, but John Eustace’s men are on a three-match unbeaten run of their own and have managed to take all three points in their last two fixtures on the road.

Striker Scott Hogan has netted five times in 10 games this season, including a stunning hat-trick against local rivals West Brom in September, and who would bet against him inspiring his side to a hat-trick of away day success at the weekend?

Selected Bet Builder:

Match result will be Draw or Birmingham
Scott Hogan to Score Anytime in the Match
Over 8 Corners for Both Teams Combined

Was 12/1 >> Boosted to 18/1
