Nevermindthechaos is being aimed at the $30,000 Race For Roses in a couple of weeks following an impressive win at Gloucester Park on Friday night.
Trainer Michael Young watched on as his charge edged a narrow victory in the 2130m Hoist Solutions Pace and has now set his sights on the Race For Roses.
To get there though she will need to qualify with a satisfactory trial in a standing-start event and there are plenty of opportunities on the horizon.
“She has plenty of good races coming up,” part-owner and trainer Young said after the win.
“She will probably have another start next Friday before running in the Race For Roses, and after that there’s a $50,000 Westbred event for mares and a $50,000 APG feature event.”

With star reinsman Gary Hall jnr in the sulky for the latest assignment they managed to fight off Three Rumours to win by a head.
Nevermindthechaos ran the final 1200m in 1min 25.5secs with some impressive 400m sectionals and Young was impressed.
“It takes a good mare to run those sectionals, three days after winning at a 1.53.4 rate over 1730m,” he added.
Meanwhile Hall jnr was also impressed with Nevermindthechaos.
“She felt super. She probably relaxed a bit better than she did over the 1730m on Tuesday. She still got a little bit keen, but she has a really good motor,” he said.
“Tonight, she got to the lead on her own steam, but I gave her a few flicks late to keep her mind on the job.”
